I hear God say, “I love you”…

as I watch Him blend the colors of His seasons.

Or would it be more accurately put, “I hear God say, ‘I love you,’ as I watch him photobomb winter with spring beauty.”

How is God saying, “I love you,” to you today?

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil1:6 NIV)

While I was a teenager, this verse offered hope that life would eventually be different than what I was experiencing. As an adult, these same words challenge me that the difference comes from living life in a relational journey with God and others. That He will use this journey, with its joys, sorrows, and challenges, to carry out His good plans and purposes.
