Sometimes God is saying “I love you” when…
He adds a splash of color to your winter landscape.
This is my brother’s massive Christmas cactus, which waited until New Year’s to bloom this year. It is believed to be over a hundred years old. Yes you read that correctly. The cactus had been given to our elderly neighbor as a wedding gift, by her mother. My brother acquired it more than thirty years ago, after our neighbor passed away at age 90. Since he had checked on her daily, and helped keep her house and farm operating smoothly, her daughter thought the cactus should be his!
He has faithfully cared for it, and it brightens the living room every winter; offering colorful evidence of God’s brilliant creation even during the dead of winter.
How is God saying “I love you” to you today?
